9th BIENNIAL TURKU SCIENCE FAIR 5.-7.10.2012

Turku Science Fair is a biennial event organised by the Turku Fair and Congress Center. The event coincides with the annual Turku Book Fair and the Turku Wine and Food Fair to create a truly multi-disciplinary attraction for a wide range of audiences.

The last Science Fair in 2010 was visited by over 22.000 visitors making it a great place to be seen and attain national publicity. Each fair offers exhibitors an opportunity to present new and central achievements of current research and challenges for the future to political decision makers, science professionals and the public alike.

Preparations for the 2012 Science Fair have now begun. The theme of the fair changes each year, and the programme, including seminars and panel discussions, will be created around this theme.

• The Finnish Association of Non-fiction Writers (Suomen tietokirjailijat)
• YLE (Yleisradio)
• and Universities at other research organisations
